Shanna Moakler, whose ex-husband, Travis Barker, survived a plane crash with Goldstein almost a year ago, seemed to be the first star to share her condolences on the social networking site.

That ‘70s Show” star Danny Masterson, who knew Adam from the DJ circuit, could hardly contain his devastation.

Masterson’s “‘70s Show” pal, Ashton Kutcher, also shared his grief, writing “much love to my boy AM.”

Samantha Ronson, who was on the celebrity DJ circuit with AM, wrote that she could hardly believe the news.
”@atrak I’m with you on this one,” in response to a message from DJ Atrak. “Waiting for someone to say this isn’t true.”
Katy Perry wrote, “rest in peace friend,” while her pal Josh Groban Tweeted a similar message, “Rest in peace Adam.”
“American Idol’s” Jordin Sparks sent her wishes to the DJ’s kin. “My prayers go out to his family. Please keep them in your thoughts.”
John Mayer wrote a handful of Tweets as he struggled to figure out what to say.
“I really want to use words right now but I can’t get em,” he wrote with an expletive.
