If you've been losing sleep over Michael Jackson's failing health, worry not: Jackson's rep says the singer is "in fine health" and vehemently denied reports that he was seriously ill.
"Wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson's health are a total fabrication," says Dr. Tohme Tohme, a man who IDs himself as Jackson's "official and sole" spokesperson.
Britain's The Sun newspaper had originally quoted celebrity biographer Ian Halpern as saying Jackson's grave health had left him blind in two eye and in want of a lung transplant, "but may be weak to go through with it."
Michael Jackson’s spokesman has denied reports that the King of Pop is suffering from a life-threatening lung disease and needs a lung transplant.
Calling the reports a "total fabrication", Dr Tohme Tohme said that author Ian Halperin made "wild allegations" to promote his unauthorised biography of the 50-year-old singer.
On Monday, the media carried stories about Jackson saying he was suffering a rare genetic illness known as Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, and that he can barely speak and is blind in his left eye.
